We are seeking a DTG Production Lead to operate and maintain our state-of-the-art Kornit Digital Direct-to-Garment printers and help oversee day-to-day order processing, production, fulfillment and machine maintenance efforts. This is a part time position to start, with the opportunity to become full-time role after 2 months of training based on fit/availability on both sides. You’ll report to the Operations Manager and be the point person for production and machine maintenance tasks within our bright, organized workspace, rooted upon a company culture of integrity, collaboration, openness, and fun.
Role & Responsibilities
Operation of our DTG Machines to print original graphics on our custom cut & sewn USA Made garments.
Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to keep our machines operating at peak performance.
Daily order processing efforts, print run prioritization, picking, packing, and shipping online and wholesale orders on time and in good order.
Manage and maintain ink & fluid levels and production & shipping supply inventory.
Blank garment receiving, inventory organization, and quality control efforts.
Communicate with the Operations Manage and Head T-shirt Guy (aka the owner) on all production related issues or concerns that require more input in a proactive, clear, consistent way.
Assist in managing our team of part time production associates, hiring and training new team members, and delegating production and fulfillment tasks accordingly.
Maintaining a safe, clean, organized work environment in the office, warehouse, production, and showroom space.
A “roll up your sleeves” kind of attitude and willingness to tackle all manner of tasks and responsibilities.
Hardworking, reliable, and self-motivated to operate independently within our well-established systems knowing when to proactively ask questions.
Resourceful and adept in machine maintenance and repair.
Highly detail-oriented and organized with an innate conscientiousness to do things the right way the first time.
Strong writing/verbal skills to provide clear communications in office and through daily internal chat messaging
Skills & Qualifications
1-3 years’ experience working in a hands-on operational role.
Experience with DTG printing (Kornit Machines in particular) strongly encouraged, but we’re willing to train the right candidate.
Experience/aptitude with digital printing and/or machine maintenance.
Ability to work with your hands and be physically engaged throughout the work day.
Comfortable working in cloud-based software and workflow management systems.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite/Photoshop a big plus.
